HALLOWEEN

MALAGA'S ENGLISH CEMETERY


In these cemetery, there are burryed people from lots of countries: England, Spain, Canada, USA and Ireland

The cemetery opens from 10:00 to 14:00 and is maintained by the tickets and other contributions. There is an Anglican church called St. George in the cemetery and it was founded by William Mark.

At the biginning on the right, there is buried a consul of USA called Edward J. Norton. There is also the Dr Gerald Maurice Jewson's tomb, in wich there is written:
Here lies a man forever kind,
of gentle, loving,noble mind,
and though our tears we all can see
how god can live in you and me
Here, is burried also Robert Boyd, who was executed at "Playa de San Andrés" in the 11th December 1831 because he fought for liberal ideas. Two sargents, a commander and a flying officer who died in 1940s.

In the middle on the right, is buried an "amigo de España" writer called Gerrald Brenan who born in Malta in March of 1894 and died in Alahurín el Grande in 1987. Next to his tomb is buried his wife(Garnet Wolsey)in which tombstone is writenn: "Fear no more the heat of the sun"

In the middle on the left, there are buried the Canadians George Gordon Miles and Ethel Mabel Mibes. And the printer Tomas Williams Jackes who lived in the XX century is buried here too.

Finally, at the top, there are Asparagus on the graves




LE CIMETIÈRE PÈRE-LACHAISE

Le cimetière Père-Lachaise a été construit par Alexandre 
Théodore en 1803, pour remplacer un autre cimetière de 
Paris. Il est dans la Rue du Repos dans le vingtième 
arrondissement du Paris. Ce nom est un hommage au
 confesseur de Luis XIV qui s' appelle François d'Aix
de la Chaise. La, sont enterrées  des personnages
comme Hubertine Audert, Pedro Abelardo, Guillaume
 Apollinaire et Jean- François Champollion.


JEAN-FRANÇOIS CHAMPOLLION

   
    Il a née à Figeac en1790 et est mort à Paris en 1832. Il 
                                 a été un trés célèbre egiptologique. Il est trés connu parce 
il a découvert la Pierre Rossete et la langue Egypte
